off to tromso. like allways i am a bit late. just 6 days for a 2000 km trip. there will be not enough time to enjoy norwegen with it's beaty. some things change, some will never. that was the reason that i crossed over to sweden. cheaper fuel and better roads. there is allways a reasons for things and soon i figured out this one. it was such on awesome road-trip. music on "hit the road jack".
sweden is a kind of land where it seems like, it is not land with a few lakes, no it is a lake with a bit of land. i passed 100 and 100 of frozen Vakes and one was more beatufull than the other.
it doesen' matter where i stayed over night i woke up with a kind of few like this.
the roads have been endless and the days seem to never end. awesome.
i think this day i drove for over 8 hours and at the end of the day i really looked forwart to find a cool spot to sleep. you have to emagine these roads are long, straight and emty. just trucks are thundering along the streets and the parking spots are just on the side of the road. i could not leave the road to get a quite spot to sleep, because every other than the main road was covered with snow and alopne in the f... nowhere it was not taff enough to risk to get stuck. so i drove for hours hoping to find another spot i loved. i could not stop laughing when i saw the board "artic circle". wtf. i must been in the car for donkey years. 10 a'clock at night still day light outsite i hit the mattress with a few on that board. with a smile and a disbelieve i will sleep on the actualy arctic circle i dozed offthinking it can"t get better.

i know another picture but i was impressed.
my rout was from kristiansand to oslo over to the coastline to sweden. than up the breathtaking coast right to the tip of the east-sea. than direction northwest again thru lappland direction finland, norway, tromso.
every day my smile did get bigger. me and my lula(my car) in lappland.
the first renndears on the road. i am use to seen animals on the streets from australia, but it is a kind off special to see these ones and they havent been the last ones crossing my way.
they come out of no where and heading in to the big white again.

than i hit norway again and i even fall more in love with this country than i did already in kristiansand. it is so special to see these massive, white mountains and just on the bottom of it the sea. one fjord after another, mountain after mountain i feel so special to see this and i was in respect of mother nature.

and boring is so fare not on my timesheet.
on morning i met guannar with his dog sledges and hopefully after the skitour i can talk him over to do a little trip with me thru the mountains. i have to get more cheeky again to talk people over taking me on trips for in exchange for a couple of days work. we will see, i have his number and i will try when i am back from the skitour and the north cape. such beatyfull animals,strong and ready to go.
that's so cool that you slept on the arctic circle! hahah i am so impressed, the views look INCREDIBLE wow wow wow wow wow!!!
